What if the silence you are experiencing is not evidence that God has stopped moving?
The King's Sleepless Night explores the hidden work of God in seasons when His presence may feel distant and His promises seem delayed. Through Scripture and reflection, readers are invited to see waiting differently and trust the God who is faithful even when His hand cannot yet be seen.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
The Encounter

A Daughter of the Living God
I am, first and foremost, a daughter of the living God.
His presence is central in my life, and His Word is my foundation and my life is rooted in my relationship with Jesus Christ. Everything I write flows from that foundation.
Growing up, I was raised as a Catholic by a loving mom with six siblings in the beautiful city of Charleston, South Carolina. I grew up with a knowledge of God, but I did not yet know Him personally.
At the age of 29, that changed. It was the day the Lord asked me to open my heart to Him. I still remember sitting in the church pews and hearing the still small voice of Jesus ask me,
“Will you let me in your heart?”
“Oh no, Lord!” I exclaimed within myself.
I couldn’t imagine what that meant and I felt unsure and afraid. What could that possibly look like? However, like the beautiful Savior that Jesus is, He did not leave me in my sin, but He gave me one more chance.
This time there was no hesitation, “Yes, Lord!” I quietly exclaimed within myself. Right at that moment, the power of the Lord brought me out of my seat and out of the sin, shame, and guilt I had carried with me.
In that moment, everything changed. He filled my heart with a peace, love, and joy I had never known. The world around me felt different: clearer, brighter, alive in a way I could not explain. I felt a newness and such a cleansing within me!
How glorious!
My decision to accept Jesus Christ, that day, remains the greatest joy of my life.
Since that day, His presence has sustained me through every season strengthening me teaching me and remaining faithful even in moments I did not understand.
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10 KJV
There were seasons when I believed certain dreams had passed and opportunities were gone. But God showed me that His timing is not limited by human understanding. What I believed had ended He revealed was not finished.
This book is born from one of those seasons.
It was formed in the waiting, in the quiet places where faith is refined and trust is deepened, when life does not yet reflect what God has spoken.
In those moments, I held onto His words.
"Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you wil perform it until the day of Jesus Christ." Philippians 1:6 KJV

CALLING
What I Carry As A Writer
Faithful to the Truth
I write to respond to what God is doing in my life.
It is how I give language to what He reveals, how I reflect on His truth, and how I remain attentive to His leading.
I have always been drawn to writing. Even in my early school years, I found encouragement in the words spoken over my work, even when I doubted myself.
Over time, what began as a natural gift became a place of formation, where God continued to shape my voice and anchor it in Him. What I once saw as skill, I now recognize as preparation.
Everything shifted when I gave my life to the Lord.
Scripture became more than study.
It became encounter. I would spend hours reading, writing, and tracing meaning, and I began to see that God was speaking through His Word with clarity and precision.
From that place, God led me into ministry and theological training at Lee University. There, He continued shaping my understanding of Scripture and my responsibility to communicate it faithfully.
I carry a deep conviction that God's truth should be understood, not merely heard.
There is a constant pull in me to bring clarity, to slow things down, to make what seems complex understandable, and to help others recognize what God is saying and doing in their lives.
My desire is to remain yielded to the Lord and be a vessel He can use, trusting His Spirit to work through every word I write, teach, and speak.
Again and again, I return to what does not change: God's character, His promises, and His faithfulness.
God does not lie.
He does not leave.
And what He has spoken, He will bring to pass in His time.
I write across biblical themes, faith, and the Christian life, creating books that help readers engage Scripture with greater understanding and experience its truth in transformative ways.
This is what I carry.
This is why I write.
My desire is to remain yielded to the Lord and be a vessel He can use, trusting His Spirit to work through every word I write, teach, and speak.
SPEAKING
Carrying the Message
Ministering the Heart of God Through Biblical Truth
Through Scripture, teaching, testimony, and practical application, I seek to communicate biblical truth in ways that strengthen faith, deepen understanding, and encourage believers to live out their relationship with God.
I carry this message into churches, conferences, retreats, special services, women's gatherings, and teaching environments where there is a desire to encounter God through His Word and grow in biblical understanding.
Every opportunity to speak is an opportunity to faithfully share what God has placed on my heart, point people back to His word, and encourage them to trust Him more deeply.
I would be honored to come alongside your church, event, or gathering and share what God has placed on my heart.
